Keeping accounts up to date and filing returns on time is essential. But what makes the difference for a business owner is having someone who really knows their file, anticipates, and can turn figures into decisions — and who explains the French system in plain English.
That is Hexaconto’s purpose: a firm on a human scale, founded by a chartered accountant and statutory auditor with over twenty years’ experience, committed to continuity of follow-up and to the quality of the relationship.
A clear method, to get off to a good start and move forward with peace of mind.

Fees depend on the work your file requires: type of business, frequency of your VAT returns, volume of transactions, employees and additional services chosen. Our introduction form books your meeting in 2 to 3 minutes and gives you a fee estimate in 5 more, confirmed after a review of your documents and the meeting; you then receive a written proposal, formalised in an engagement letter. Estimate your budget and see how we set our fees
Fill in our introduction form: in 2 to 3 minutes, you know whether our support may suit you, and you book your meeting. In 5 more minutes, you prepare it and receive an estimate of our fees. You then send us the documents requested to confirm it, and we go through your last questions in the meeting with a chartered accountant to receive our quote, free and with no obligation, in Paris, by video call or by phone. With your documents reviewed in advance, you usually receive your proposal during the meeting. Our accountant quote in 3 steps
Yes. You can change at any time, in line with the current engagement letter and the profession’s rules. We contact your current firm to organise the takeover of your file smoothly. The simplest option is a change at year-end; during the year, a supplement for the year-end accounts is usually provided. Read our guide to changing accountant and work out your change date

Yes, as soon as your business is registered (Kbis for a company, Sirene registration for a sole trader), or while registration is under way: review of your tax and VAT options, accounting organisation, first deadlines, then the director’s remuneration when the time comes. As soon as you choose us, we review with you the options taken at incorporation: it is therefore best to choose your accountant quickly, so that any adjustments (tax regime, VAT…) are made on time. For a simple incorporation, you can complete the formalities yourself, free of charge, on the INPI one-stop shop; for a more complex one, a lawyer is the right contact. Yes, it is the closest equivalent. In France, the regulated accounting profession is the expert-comptable (chartered accountant), registered with the Ordre des experts-comptables: the role a CPA or chartered accountant plays in other countries. Hexaconto is a firm of French experts-comptables, registered in Paris; we do not hold the US CPA title. See our services
Statutory filings must be prepared in French. We provide explanations, summaries and, where needed, reporting in English.
Yes. We regularly exchange with group finance teams, controllers and auditors, in English, to deliver the figures and explanations they need. See our support for subsidiaries and international entrepreneurs
Yes: a dedicated chartered accountant handles your business’s accounting and tax engagement (annual accounts, corporate tax return, VAT) and takes your overall situation into account: the company’s accounts and taxes, the director’s pay and income. You are well supported, in Paris, by video call or by phone, anywhere in France. In 2 to 3 minutes, your meeting is booked; in 5 more minutes, your fee estimate is shown. The forecasts, cash-flow plans, dashboards, simulations, studies and analyses mentioned above are additional engagements, à la carte. Each one is quoted in advance, at the frequency you choose.
