Our collaboration charter

Effective collaboration rests on mutual commitments. Here they are, in black and white, even before our first meeting.

Accurate accounts, deadlines met and useful advice do not depend on your accountant alone: they rest on a shared organisation. This charter sets out, transparently, what we commit to and what we expect from you. Its principles are detailed in the engagement letter, which prevails.

Our commitments to you

  • A single point of contact: your chartered accountant centralises your requests and follows your file throughout the year.
  • A quick answer, usually within two working days, and an alert as soon as a deadline or point of attention concerns you.
  • A shared calendar of your obligations, drawn up at the start of the financial year.
  • Transparent fees, set according to technicality, volume and level of support, and stated in the engagement letter. If your volume changes or exceptional work is needed, we inform you promptly.
  • Professional secrecy and the confidentiality of all the information you entrust to us.
  • Exchanges in English whenever you wish, with you, your partners or your head office.

Your commitments

  • Sending your supporting documents at the agreed frequency, monthly if you file VAT every month, and at least once a quarter, via your secure space; your bank transactions come through automatically thanks to bank feeds, and your bank statements are sent to us for reconciliation.
  • Answering our questions promptly, within five working days at most, so that deadlines are met calmly.
  • Telling us in advance about important events: hiring, investment, new contract, change of activity.
  • Meeting the dates agreed together for year-end and payroll information.
  • Paying fees as provided in the engagement letter.

Why a charter?

These commitments are not formalities: they determine the quality of the accounts, compliance with deadlines and the relevance of our advice. A file kept up to date as you go means less stress at year end, decisions taken with current figures, and more time for what matters to you.

Frequently asked questions

Is the charter a contract?

No: it presents the principles of our collaboration. The precise commitments, services and fees are set out in the engagement letter and its general terms, which prevail. See how we set our fees

What happens if I send my documents late?

We remind you and adapt the timetable when possible. Repeated delays can however jeopardise deadlines: that is why regular sending is essential. See bringing accounts up to date

Can I send my documents more often?

Yes, and it is even recommended: as you go, on the invoice platform, your accounts stay up to date and our advice relies on recent figures.

How can I reach you in an emergency?

By phone or email to your chartered accountant. Urgent situations are handled first.

What happens if my business grows?

That is good news, and we support you. If your volume of transactions exceeds what was planned or new work is needed, we inform you promptly and agree the adjustment together, within the engagement letter.

Does the charter apply to one-off engagements?

Yes, in its principles: mutual response times, sending of the necessary information and fees presented in advance.
